Burning Torch Boutique on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, Karyn Craven launched her Spring 2014 CRAVEN fine jewelry collection. The soirée was filled with the sounds of KCRW’s Dan Wilcox and small plates catered by Oscar’s Cerveteca. The evening was ever interactive with a model and fashion installation, indie film screening projected on a 40 foot wall, and photo booth from The Bosco.
The event drew a great crowd of stylists, fashion photographers, designers, musicians, and local industry people. Guests we able to get an exclusive first look at the collection and shop the boutique with personal service. Craven, known for her raw yet refined styles has designed a handcrafted collection that is in line with Burning Torch’s aesthetic of organic, vintage and modern by mixing metals with precious gems and recycled materials.

8TH MOCA AWARD TO DISTINGUISHED WOMEN IN THE ARTS LUNCHEON
The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), honored celebrated Los Angeles artists Lita Albuquerque, Helen Pashgian, Nancy Rubins, and Betye Saar as the recipients of the 8th MOCA Award to Distinguished Women in the Arts yesterday November 6, 2013 at The Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. The award was presented by actress and activist Sharon Stone. More than 600 guests attended the event, raising more than $275,000 for MOCA’s award-winning education programming, making this year’s the most successful MOCA Award to Distinguished Women in the Arts benefit luncheon since its inception in 1994.

CLINIQUE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD
A couple of weeks ago the famed Sunset Tower Terrace Room was transformed into a Clinique experience of four vignette stations highlighting Clinique’s Skin Care, Color, Men and Holiday offerings. Clinique beauty experts hosted each station for guests to have an intimate experience and learn about the brand’s offerings. Attendees also had the opportunity to play with color at the “Chubby Bar” where guests used Clinique’s famous Chubby Sticks to write love notes on a mirror and post pictures on Twitter and Instagram. DINNER AT DEXTER'S
Saturday, September 28th Tamsin Lonsdale founder of The Supper Club partnered with luxury real-estate company, The Agency, and threw a ‘killer’ party to commemorate the end of one of televisions most notorious murderers, Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall. His Hollywood home is now on the market and in the hands of top real-estate agents Josh Myler and Jeff Kohl. The sprawling 5,500 square foot hacienda styled home was the perfect setting for a glamorous evening of dinner and drinks, whilst mingling with some of LA’s finest.
Guests entered and descended down a candle lit stone stairway into the front courtyard where melodic tunes from the flamenco guitarist guided them to the festivities ahead, which included a fine collection of wine, courtesy of Blackbird Vineyards and handcrafted Pisco Porton cocktails with names such as the ‘Dark Passenger’ and ‘Masuka’s Moxie’. Guests were able to tour the beautiful main house where DJ Fembot was spinning beats to keep the party flowing as guests made there way to the spectacular back courtyard with lounge seating overlooking the Zen Garden that completes the feel of the Mediterranean style estate.

Earlier this month Haute Polish announced its arrival in Los Angeles with a star-studded beauty event, introducing Haute Polish as the first even healthy alternative to nail gel at Chi Nail Bar & Organic Spa in Beverly Hills. Chi Nail Bar’s amazing team of nail technicians expertly applied the chemical free nail gel to a bevy of Hollywood stars including Jaime King, Angela Lindvall and Ali Laundry as well fashion and beauty social media stars Aimee Song and Chriselle Lim.
The stars came out after a great win to support the Lakers Youth Foundation at the Lakers Casino Night presented by OneWest Bank and Pechanga Resort & Casino. The night included Pechanga casino table games, a Just Dance station on the Wii, popchips Pop-a-Shot, Photoboothless, food from Wolfgang Puck and drinks provided by Finlandia Vodka. The night raised funds to help inspire and drive youth in the local communities and as Pau Gasol shared to "follow your dreams and don't give up!" All the Laker players were present to support and helped raise funds for this great cause.

ELIZABETH TAYLOR’S MAGNIFICENT COLLECTION OF BVLGARI JEWELRY DISPLAYED FOR THE FIRST TIME
On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, guests were invited to view an eight-piece collection of Bulgari jewels that originally belonged to glamour icon Elizabeth Taylor. Recently acquired by Bulgari, the collection was unveiled during a Roman-themed evening, marking its debut in the United States. It included pieces that Ms. Taylor obtained and wore during important milestones of her life, from her filming of Cleopatra and romance with Richard Burton, to her many film award nominations and wins, and humanitarian triumphs. The collection was displayed in the new Bulgari Beverly Hills boutique, which was swathed in magnificent portraits of the late movie star donning her legendary Bulgari emeralds.
The evening celebrated Dame Elizabeth and Bulgari’s new retail location, while paying homage to the legendary Roman jeweler’s heritage.
Both the exhibition and boutique façade will be on display from February 19 to March 10.
TOMMY HILFIGER CELEBRATES NEW WEST COAST FLAGSHIP

On Sunday, November 18, 2012, Celebs flocked to the Rolling Stone AMA After Pay presented by Nokia and Rdio on Sunday night at RSLA. The party had a line around the block to Hollywood Boulevard and got just as crazy inside when people formed circles and started having dance offs before it was even midnight!
At one point in the evening, Jamie Foxx took over the DJ booth and was doing shout outs and rapping to old school hip hop for the rest of the evening.
Nikki Reed and her husband Paul McDonald were spotted having a date night out and got really excited about when they saw that three of the Harlem Globetrotters were in attendance, decked out in their uniforms with basketballs, and asked to take pictures with them.
Gavin Degraw and Colbie Caillait seemed to still be really close from their summer tour together as they were hanging out all night and taking photos on the carpet. The duo was overheard talking about their new song together, "We Both Know," that will be featured as the closing song of the upcoming film Safe Haven.

On July 17, 2012, Rachel Roy celebrated the launch of her Fall 2012 Dress Salon at Mr. C Beverly Hills at a chic luncheon that brought together fashion’s leading ladies of the West Coast.
Guests were greeted poolside with signature Cipriani bellinis and dined on burrata with heirloom tomatoes, branzino and risotto alla primavera. After dining, the ladies were treated to personalized Rachel Roy Dress Salon cupcakes from Sweet E’s Bakery. Guests were given the opportunity to browse the capsule Collection on iPads throughout the lunch.
“The dress to me is about the ease of putting on one singular piece and making that your statement. This is a Collection of dresses that flatter, fit and move with each need of my client’s busy life,” said Rachel Roy of the Collection.
